About Derrick

Derrick Casey is a financial advisor with a professional focus on small business planning.  He started in finance in 2001 working as a lender and mutual funds advisor. Derrick’s expertise has expanded to include wealth management and insurance planning.  Being self employed since 2006 has given Derrick the unique perspective of understanding the needs and challenges that face business owners. Being a dad of 4 incredible teenagers, Derrick appreciates what it means to protect and provide for those most dependent on you for security. Derrick was born in Grande Prairie and is continually looking for ways to give back to the community through the many boards he serves on, the musical theatre community as well as through his involvement at his home church.  He has served as the president of his BNI networking chapter. When Derrick is not advising on investments and insurance, he is golfing, drumming and doing stand up comedy.
